Cherokee Village located in the beautiful Ozark foothills of Northern Arkansas and comprises more than 13,000 acres extending into both Sharp and Fulton counties. Conceived in 1954, it was developed by Cooper Communities as a vacation-retirement area. The amenities now include 7 lakes that are great for fishing, boating and some for skiing, 2 18-hole golf courses, and 3 recreational centers. Miniature golf, tennis, pools, health club, walking trails both natural and paved tracks are all features that make Cherokee Village a special place to visit.
